The areas closest to the beltway got good news last week from a report sponsored by Delta Associates, and McWilliams Ballard. The supply of unsold condominium units is shrinking, and prices could possibly begin to rise by the end of 2009, more likely by 2010.

Forbes has ranked Baltimore in the top ten cities for job growth. Projects like the Takoma Overlook are the true herald of recovery in this economy. This renovation by Tenacity Group of an existing 1960s landmark building inside the Beltway in Montgomery County ties in very well to the strengths mentioned in the Forbes report.
